The other day i re-watched "The Royal Tenenbaums" and have come to the conclusion that this is one of the best scences in the movie. After the credits had rolled, i couldn't get this scene and Nico's voice out of my head. Wes Anderson can do no wrong.
So, I'd really like to walk out onto the streets of Montreal in these numbers, sure i'd get a few stares seen as there is a blizzard attacking the city, but screw it. It really is healthy to show off some leg once and a while.
I just got back from seeing The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. The movie was pretty good, the makeup was fantastic, and i thought Cate Blanchet did a very splendid job. Watching the movie it's hard to believe that Cate, who plays a dancer, has also won an oscar for walking in Bob Dylans shoes. Check out a great article on her by Interview Magazine.
I finally head back to Toronto Tomorrow. It was a perfect vacation and I realized how much I miss Vancouver and all my wonderful friends. Can't wait till next time, stay beautiful Vancouver.
The lack of posts has been mainly due to the recovery of some pretty amazing christmas parties. They tend to take quite a lot out of you, but alas, we are well rested and eager to post up a storm. I hope everyone had a marvelous holiday, and i do hope everyone had as much fun i did dancing away to the likes of Stevie Wonder and Jackson 5.
