A trip to California seems the perfect remedy for the fresh snowfall Montreal received last night. Only one little midterm to go before sunny skies. I find by just repeating THIS tune over and over, Montreal's violent winds really don't feel so bad.

Penny Arcade -- the best vintage in town. It's like shopping in a friends closet.

AGO - Frank Gehry is a genius. No building has ever soothed my mind as much as this. The 19th century French impressionism is my favorite.

After the last few days have been spent shivering away, slipping on ice and dreaming of the summer in Montreal, i am slowly realizing that my tactics for surviving the cold may be off base. Black velvet pants and spiked heels could possibly be the ultimate way to destroy these brutish days. Only time will tell.

I remember...

• First days in montreal.
• Eating burgers and drinking champagne.
• Journeying to St Laurent for many the free shot.
• No jacket, no tights, no snow.
• And a time where i got to see both bourgeois' everyday.

I just read the Coachella line up and it pains me a little it looks so golden. Since exam period is april 15-30, unless all my exams happen to fall on the 15th i think there is no hope i will make it back to the west coast by then.

Since my camera self destructed on me two days into my trip this summer, i really missed having photos of pretty days and shwasty nights. But Santa was so kind to give me a new camera for christmas, hence the many shots of the holidays in Vancouver and new year adventures in Montreal.

I hope everyone had a marvelous winter break filled with shortbread, laughs and peppermint schnapps.

I have a feeling this year is going to be a good one.
