After watching Penelope Cruz win the oscar (while kicking myself for not seeing it in theaters), I also decieded to rent vickey christina barcelona. Out-voted buy the boys involved in movie night, we ended up getting "the vistor", which needless to say was a tad boring. Then after reading Alexa's quips about the movie I knew it was time for me to fall in love with Woody Allens latest creation.
I just finished watching it..... and will most likely re-watch it tomorrow.
Meerly an onlooker into the lives of Vicky and Christina, set in gorgeous Barcelona, Woody Allen creates a beautiful portrayal of 4 people falling in and out of love.Copious amounts of wine, spanish guitar and loads of romance, need i say more?
