It's the good stuff kids go for.

Photobucket

I am off and on my way to my favorite place in the world; Victoria Beach! A quick pit stop (not really in the right direction) to Vancouver on my way to the peg, and in one short week I am beach bound for the summer. Toronto, sorry for abandoning you for the summer but life is too short to be stuck in the city for the hot summer months. I will try to blog the best I can but I will be without my laptop (not sure If I am happy or scared about this).

To my other half, Alexa, I hope you have an amazing time in Europe and I am so jealous/extremely proud of you! Lets face it, VB is no Mayfair.

Love to all and happy summer!

Walking on Sunshine

I know i tend to complain quite a lot about the cold weather on this blog. But the fact that it is only -1  outside right now has made summer feel right around the corner.  These past couple months have made me practically forget what shorts even are!  But alas, today i left my toque behind, pulled out my favorite shades, and walked with a little hop to my step as i thought about how legendary my short collection will be come spring.

The living's easy.

I'd like to take a moment, before the leaves start falling from the trees, before the days get shorter and shorter, and before little dresses are no longer promiisscually used to show off bronzed legs but worn with black tights, to remember summer 08.  It was a summer that started out with all our friends as close as could be, and ended with everyone heading in different directions.  It dawned on me the other day that not only will i miss the great city of Vancouver, but i will also greatly miss weekend trips to resort areas such as Whistler, BC.  One of my fondest summer 08 memories was shared by my co-blogger as we drank, danced and smoked our night away.  When you start the night out playing the board game "passout," you know it's bound to be memorable.

The night didn't look as glorious the next morning!
