Here's to the Quebec Picnic Law

I just found this video of my past birthday spent in the lovely parc la fontaine. Wine, cheese, good friends, 30 degree weather = a stunning day.

Goodbye Ruby Tuesday

There's nothing like reconnecting after the holidays with a little white wine and some dancing.

Yes the weekend is finally here! It's time to pop the champagne and get our dance on. I want to party like it's 1999 tonight!

I hope winter never comes.

Bon Appetit!

Today, my roommate Brittany and our friend Catherine and I, dined at this wonderful gem of a restaurant.  It's called Cafe Lola Rosa and serves amazing vegetarian food!  The mood is warm and inviting and on sunny days like today, there are garage windows that open the place up to the buzz of milton street. An amazing feature to this lovely spot is the menus are not put in front of you, but they surround you on chalkboards hanging on the walls.  It's unique and delicious, a winning combination.

Tam Tams

My memories from my first days in my new home in Montreal are very blurry.  Frosh events left no room for sleep, no room for soberness, and no room for crystal clear memories.  But as the five days came to an end i'll always remember my friends and i heading up the hill for an amazing day at Tam Tams.  For those of you who aren't familiar with this event, Tam Tams happens every sunday in the summer where various people, old and young, play drums.  It attracts many different personas who sit and listen to this amazing event.  On this very sunday, as we were all running on our last amounts of energy, and we simply sat, smoked, and ate Thai express, soaking up the sound of the drums and the heat of the sun.  We even got up and danced: believe it.
