So today it was my friend and I's turn to lead our seminar discussion in class. We wanted to wow our prof and go where no discussion leaders have gone before, so we planned to have an intense debate while serving copious amounts of wine and cheese. We killed it. The wine was such a hit, and everyone's argumentative skills flourished. What a wonderful afternoon : eating brie, sipping wine with your professor and classmates and debating.

wow that could have gone horribly wrong but big ups for doing it. wish i could have indulged as well.

that's a pretty great idea. i miss debate club! nowadays i just put my skills to work when i'm wasted. one second you're double fisting, the next thing you know you've turned a chat about registration deadlines into a cross examination about party politics.
